Assembly Room
Assembly Room at Macclesfield Town Hall
The Assembly room is our largest room and able to seat /accommodate up to 200 people maximum, this must include any staff, presenters and guests etc.
The large function room is suitable for Celebration Parties, Exhibitions, Craft Fairs, wedding ceremonies, concerts and receptions. There is a separate bar room adjacent to the main Assembly room. Kitchen facilities are also available with dumb waiter facility up into the Bar area.
The use of a PA system, Wi-Fi, Flip Charts, 60’’ TV Screen on stand and projector are available upon request and all inclusive in the room hire price.
Views of the town centre, St Michaels church next door and the beautiful rolling hills in the distance, can be seen from the large Assembly room windows.
A Registrar is required to conduct your ceremony

Other events
Room dressing
We provide and lay out the furniture ready for your event, we can also provide tablecloths and seat covers at a minimal extra cost, if required.
Tables, stage and floor areas can be dressed with free standing items, such as table centres, flower stands, Balloons/arches etc. Please seek advice first from the Civic Buildings Co-ordinator Pam Evans 01625 374705.
Catering
While we don't have our own in-house caterers, we do have a small list of local, regularly used outside caterers that we can pass onto hirers.
Hirers are encouraged to seek their own chosen caterer to suit their event, for dietary requirements and their budget.
